We are currently seeking part-time Bartenders to join our West Midtown taproom team. This role is pivotal in shaping the customer experience from the moment guests enter until they pay their bill. Bartenders at Round Trip are on the front lines of hospitality, blending knowledge, enthusiasm, and efficiency to serve diverse beer styles while maintaining a safe, clean, and inviting environment. The ideal candidates are personable, quick learners, and adept at working efficiently and safely under pressure. Bartenders must be able to pour and serve beer correctly, explain the nuances of various beer styles, and uphold the cleanliness and orderliness of the taproom, including bar backing and general housekeeping duties. Additional responsibilities involve participation in private events, supporting team operations, and contributing to a relaxed yet professional atmosphere. Personal integrity, strong people skills, and a passion for beer are essential for success in this position. Full training and career development opportunities are provided, especially for those who are not yet certified but eager to advance their beer knowledge and skills.

Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • experience in bartending or restaurant industry preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Experience working in the bar or restaurant industry is preferred
  • must be 21 years or older
  • Cicerone Level 1 Certified Beer Server Certification is preferred
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • enthusiasm for craft beer and customer service
  • ability to work quickly and efficiently
  • high level of professionalism and personal integrity

Job Duties

  • Ability to pour and serve beer using proper techniques
  • selling beer and merchandise including demonstrating expertise and answering beer or brewery related questions
  • maintaining a clean and tidy taproom and bar area including bussing tables and cleaning spills
  • adherence to all legal, health, and safety guidelines
  • ability to operate payment systems
  • cleaning, rotating, and restocking glassware
  • restocking bar and merchandise throughout the day
  • flipping and changing out empty kegs
  • attending and participating in team meetings and trainings
  • performing additional duties as directed by the lead bartender or manager
