This specific position as a Bartender is integral to delivering outstanding fan experiences during live music events at various venue locations. The role requires interacting with guests warmly and naturally to enhance their enjoyment, promoting repeated visits and cultivating regular clientele. Bartenders will demonstrate their skill by successfully completing pour tests prior to shifts where applicable and excel in suggestive selling of beverages and menu items. Responsibilities include timely preparation and delivery of drinks, prioritization and organization of orders, and adherence to standard recipes and venue-specific drink preparation standards. Safety and compliance are paramount; the bartender will maintain logs of equipment issues or safety hazards, recognize signs of guest intoxication and responsibly refuse further service, and ensure compliance with local alcohol regulations and company policies.

Additional duties involve handling cash and payment processing accurately, managing bartender banks, completing opening and closing procedures, and supporting special event operations throughout the venue. This position demands physical stamina for prolonged standing and the ability to lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds using proper techniques. Commitment to a flexible schedule, including late hours, is essential, along with a readiness to work in a fast-paced, often noisy and lively environment. Job Duties

  • Interact with guests in a natural, friendly demeanor
  • cultivate regular guests and repeat business
  • successfully complete a pour test prior to every shift, where applicable
  • suggestively sell both beverages and menu items to guests at the bar
  • deliver beverage orders promptly
  • prioritize and organize drink orders
  • consistently prepare beverages according to standard recipes and venue specifications, abide by all control systems
  • record any equipment failure and/or safety hazards in bar log
  • recognize when guests are becoming too intoxicated and refuse further service of alcohol in a courteous and safety-minded manner, bringing it to the attention of a manager
  • ensure responsible alcohol service per local ordinance alcohol awareness training and HOB alcohol policies
  • request proper identification for anyone appearing under 30 years of age
  • maintain HOB safety and sanitation standards
  • perform opening/running/closing duties according to HOB policy
  • prepare guest checks (on point of sales terminal) and process payment according to Live Nation policy
  • maintain bartender bank
  • perform pull / check out procedures
  • maintain appropriate Comp and Spill checks
  • required to occasionally work Special Events that are scheduled throughout the venue
