Your responsibilities will include greeting guests warmly, taking orders, processing transactions accurately through cash or credit, and ensuring compliance with all alcohol service policies, including state and local age verification laws. Maintaining a clean and organized workstation by setting up and breaking down your bar area is vital, as is keeping inventory stocked and accounted for. As part of providing excellent guest service, you will anticipate customer needs, maintain a positive and friendly demeanor, and collaborate effectively with servers and other team members. Security of company assets and strict adherence to cash handling procedures are also key aspects of the role.

The ideal candidate enjoys the fast-paced nature of the hospitality industry, is detail-oriented, and has excellent multitasking skills. Occasional physical activity such as lifting up to 25 pounds is required. Previous bartending experience and knowledge of current beverage trends are preferred, along with the ability to obtain necessary alcohol service certifications. Flexibility in schedule is important, as shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a bartender preferred
  • knowledge of bartending principles and recipes and current trends
  • able to obtain all Aramark and state/local required alcohol service certifications
  • displays phenomenal hospitality friendliness and comprehensive beverage knowledge
  • demonstrates organizational and multi-tasking skills accuracy and attention to detail
  • enjoys working in a fast-paced fun work environment

Job Duties

  • Greets guests and takes orders
  • processes cash and credit card transactions
  • mixes and serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • may include providing servers drinks from the service well
  • adheres to all established alcohol service policies and safe drinking guidelines including checking patrons' identification
  • adheres to cash handling policies
  • sets up and breaks down workstations including cleaning and sanitizing
  • takes inventory counts and ensures product is stocked to appropriate levels
  • provides excellent guest service anticipating guests' needs and ensuring guest satisfaction
  • maintains a positive demeanor towards guests clients co-workers etc
