Uchi Charlotte is an upcoming premier Japanese dining establishment set to open in Plaza Midwood's Commonwealth development, bringing an exciting new culinary experience to Charlotte, North Carolina in early April 2026. Uchi, which means 'house' in Japanese, was founded by the acclaimed James Beard Award-winning Chef Tyson Cole. The Bartender position at Uchi Charlotte is a critical role in the restaurant’s front-of-house team, designed for individuals passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences while showcasing their expertise in mixology and beverage service. Bartenders at Uchi are expected to create artistically crafted cocktails that complement the innovative Japanese menu and pair beautifully with the restaurant’s drink selections. Bartenders will undergo a comprehensive orientation starting in early March 2026, in preparation for the grand opening. Bartenders will also be responsible for delivering drink orders accurately and efficiently, restocking supplies, and ensuring that all safety guidelines and standards are met.
