The company offers a broad range of integrated services including food service, catering, facilities management, and other tailored solutions designed to provide memorable experiences to clients and their guests. Known for fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment, Sodexo Live values diversity, equal opportunity, and cultural belonging, ensuring that all employees are treated fairly and respectfully. The company is committed to providing comprehensive benefits and professional development opportunities, helping employees to thrive both personally and professionally. Recently, Sodexo Live is seeking to fill the position of Bartender Tipped at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex, a pivotal role within its hospitality team. This part-time position offers a pay range from $2.13 to $21.54 per hour, reflecting the tipped nature of the role, and requires open availability as work shifts vary. As a Bartender Tipped at Sodexo Live, you will be entrusted with delivering exceptional customer service by efficiently mixing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. In this dynamic role, you will work in close collaboration with wait staff and other team members to ensure prompt and courteous service for all patrons. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, preparing and serving beverages with precise recipes and appropriate garnishes, and maintaining a fully stocked and organized bar area. Additionally, you will be responsible for accurate inventory counts and replenishments to ensure continuous operation. Given the physical demands of the job, you must be capable of standing or walking for extended periods, lifting up to 35 pounds regularly and occasionally handling heavier loads, as well as performing repetitive motions. Sodexo Live encourages friendly, attentive, and tactful interaction with customers, creating a warm and welcoming environment. This role offers more than just a job — it is an opportunity to be part of a company that empowers you to act with purpose, grow your skills, and build a rewarding career. Sodexo Live also offers a suite of benefits including paid time off, holidays, medical, dental, and vision insurance, tuition reimbursement, 401(k) plans, employee discount programs, and, at certain locations, additional perks such as shift meals, uniforms, and transit support. Overall, Sodexo Live emphasizes work-life balance, ongoing training, and career advancement within a flexible and supportive workplace culture focused on respect and inclusion. This is your chance to join a passionate team dedicated to excellence in hospitality and customer experience.
