The Bartender Tipped position at Sodexo, located at the University of Texas at Austin, is a part-time role offering a pay range of $11.00 to $12.00 per hour working varying shifts, including some weekends and holidays. This role demands a dynamic individual capable of delivering exceptional customer service through the preparation and serving of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a timely and professional manner. Bartenders collaborate closely with wait staff and other team members to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction while maintaining a clean, well-stocked bar area.

In addition to mixing and serving drinks with appropriate garnishes and adhering to local regulations for alcohol service, the Bartender Tipped is responsible for inventory management such as preparing beginning counts and issuing purchase requisitions. Physical stamina is essential for this position, as it requires significant walking, standing for extended periods (sometimes over 8 hours), and the ability to lift weights of up to 50 pounds occasionally. This role suits individuals who are friendly, tactful, attentive, and capable of performing repetitive motions safely and effectively.
