The Bartender Tipped position at the Alliant Energy Center, under Sodexo Live's operation, offers a flexible part-time employment opportunity with an hourly pay range of $15.00 to $18.00. Job Requirements

  • Must be at or over the minimum age to serve alcohol or bartend according to local regulations
  • ability to stand or walk throughout shift durations which may exceed 8 hours
  • capability to reach, bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • ability to perform repetitive movements
  • punctuality and regular attendance for scheduled shifts

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • 0 to 1 year related experience preferred
  • ability to make a wide range of drink recipes and mix drinks correctly
  • knowledge of local alcohol service laws and age requirements
  • strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation

Job Duties

  • Greet guests, mix and serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks with appropriate garnishes
  • ensure the bar area is fully equipped with necessary tools and products
  • prepare accurate beginning counts and manage inventory requisitions
  • work collaboratively with wait staff to provide prompt service
  • maintain friendliness, tact, and attentiveness while interacting with customers
