Job Description

Spokane Tribe Casino is a premier entertainment destination offering guests an exciting gaming experience combined with exceptional dining and hospitality services. As a well-established casino, it prides itself on its commitment to delivering top-notch customer service, vibrant atmosphere, and a wide variety of gaming options. Located in the heart of Spokane, this casino creates memorable experiences for visitors while maintaining the highest standards of safety, security, and compliance.

The bartender role at Spokane Tribe Casino is a dynamic position that plays a crucial part in enhancing the guest experience. The incumbent will be responsible for mixing and serving a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to patrons, ensuring every drink is prepared following precise recipes. Beyond cocktail preparation, the bartender supports the Mission, Vision, and Values of the casino by fostering a welcoming environment where guests feel comfortable and valued. This role demands excellent interpersonal skills, attentiveness, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Monitoring inventory par levels and communicating equipment needs or repairs to the Beverage Manager are essential responsibilities. Security and accuracy are also critical, as the bartender is accountable for managing the cash bank assigned and must ensure all transactions are correctly handled.

Working conditions in this role involve exposure to varying levels of noise, crowds, and smoke, reflective of the busy casino environment. Effective communication with both customers and colleagues at all levels is essential for smooth operations and customer satisfaction. The role also includes supervising barbacks, ensuring their actions align with the high standards of the establishment.

This position requires adherence to regulatory and compliance standards, including being 21 years of age and securing the necessary State or Tribal Gaming License. Knowledge and skills for the job are typically developed through five years of bartending experience or progressive training within the Food & Beverage department.
