Aramark is dedicated to providing equal employment opportunities and fostering an inclusive work environment where every employee can thrive and grow professionally. Its mission is to empower employees to reach their full potential while delivering exceptional service to clients across various industries and event types.
This opportunity is for a Bartender position within Aramark's catering operations team, a crucial role in creating memorable event experiences through exceptional drink service and hospitality. The role involves providing outstanding beverage service at private events ranging from intimate gatherings to large celebrations, ensuring that each guest receives polished, professional attention. The Bartender will be responsible for setting up and breaking down mobile bar stations, preparing and serving cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages per Banquet Event Orders, and offering knowledgeable recommendations to guests. This fast-paced position demands a positive, personable attitude and the ability to maintain excellent communication with event staff and clients to support seamless and enjoyable service.
In addition to effective drink preparation and presentation skills, the Bartender will adhere strictly to safety and cash handling policies, including verifying legal drinking ages and processing transactions accurately. The role also requires maintaining a clean, well-stocked bar area and performing inventory checks in coordination with catering managers. Strong teamwork is encouraged, supporting other event staff including servers, supervisors, runners, chefs, and temporary personnel to deliver a cohesive event experience.
Compensation for this position ranges from $19.00 to $20.00 per hour, reflecting Aramark's commitment to fair and competitive pay. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, work/life resources, retirement savings plans such as 401(k), and paid time off including parental leave and disability coverage. Benefits may vary by location and employee eligibility. Successful candidates will be those who thrive in fast-paced, social environments, possess strong bartending expertise, and demonstrate a commitment to high-quality guest service and teamwork. Aramark encourages applicants from diverse backgrounds and is an equal opportunity employer that complies with all Fair Chance Ordinances and Acts.
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy dynamic, customer-facing positions that blend craftsmanship in mixed drinks with hospitality excellence. Working as a Bartender with Aramark provides the chance to grow skills, engage positively with guests and colleagues, and contribute meaningfully to memorable event experiences. The position offers flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, demanding reliability and punctuality.
