Job Requirements

Must be minimum age to serve alcohol
high school diploma or equivalent
prior hospitality and/or food and beverage experience preferred
good verbal and written communication skills
basic computer skills including POS system knowledge
ability to lift at least 30 lbs regularly
ability to stand and exert mobility for 8 hours
ability to speak, read, write and understand primary language used for communication
compliance with all health, safety, and labor regulations
ability to manage intoxicated guests according to policy

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
prior hospitality and/or food and beverage experience preferred
knowledge of mixology and beverage product specifications
good communication skills both verbal and written
basic computer skills including POS system knowledge
ability to describe menu items, prices, and preparation methods
ability to use suggestive selling techniques
knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware
must possess required legal age to serve alcohol

Job Duties

Oversees and assists the front of house team with all elements of service
takes ownership of the bar knowing guest preferences
greets, seats, runs, busses, and resets tables
describes dinner features including menu changes and daily additions
conducts continuous training with service team on spirits and cocktails
prepares alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest requests
prepares drinks for serving staff
engages with guests to take orders and make recommendations
understands dietary restrictions and menu changes
maintains a clean and safe bar environment
complies with health, safety, and labor regulations
observes guests for signs of intoxication and refuses service when appropriate
performs supportive functions as needed
