Job Requirements
- Must be minimum age to serve alcohol
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior hospitality and/or food and beverage experience preferred
- good verbal and written communication skills
- basic computer skills including POS system knowledge
- ability to lift at least 30 lbs regularly
- ability to stand and exert mobility for 8 hours
- ability to speak, read, write and understand primary language used for communication
- compliance with all health, safety, and labor regulations
- ability to manage intoxicated guests according to policy
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior hospitality and/or food and beverage experience preferred
- knowledge of mixology and beverage product specifications
- good communication skills both verbal and written
- basic computer skills including POS system knowledge
- ability to describe menu items, prices, and preparation methods
- ability to use suggestive selling techniques
- knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware
- must possess required legal age to serve alcohol
Job Duties
- Oversees and assists the front of house team with all elements of service
- takes ownership of the bar knowing guest preferences
- greets, seats, runs, busses, and resets tables
- describes dinner features including menu changes and daily additions
- conducts continuous training with service team on spirits and cocktails
- prepares alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest requests
- prepares drinks for serving staff
- engages with guests to take orders and make recommendations
- understands dietary restrictions and menu changes
- maintains a clean and safe bar environment
- complies with health, safety, and labor regulations
- observes guests for signs of intoxication and refuses service when appropriate
- performs supportive functions as needed
