Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in upscale restaurant, hotel, winery, or luxury hospitality environments preferred
  • strong knowledge of wines, spirits, classic cocktails, and beverage preparation techniques
  • ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment
  • excellent interpersonal, communication, and guest engagement skills
  • ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules as business demands require
  • must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to lift up to 30 pounds safely
  • must maintain current Oregon alcohol service certification and food handler certification

Job Qualifications

  • experience with luxury boutique hotel or tasting room service preferred
  • POS system experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and service standards
  • provide knowledgeable recommendations regarding wines, cocktails, spirits, and food pairings
  • deliver attentive, personalized, and anticipatory guest service
  • maintain full knowledge of rotating wine selections, specialty cocktails, and menu offerings
  • accurately process guest orders through POS systems and handle cash and credit card transactions responsibly
  • maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the bar, lounge, and service areas
  • monitor guest alcohol consumption and ensure compliance with Oregon liquor laws and responsible alcohol service practices
  • restock bar inventory, garnishes, glassware, and supplies throughout service
  • assist with inventory counts and beverage ordering as directed by leadership
  • support special events, wine tastings, private dinners, and seasonal programming
  • collaborate with culinary and service teams to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • maintain professional appearance and demeanor consistent with luxury hospitality standards
  • follow all company policies, safety procedures, and food handling standards
  • perform additional duties as assigned by management
