This role invites passionate individuals to join the dynamic team at Kimpton Santo as a bartender. Bartenders provide high-quality service by establishing personal connections with guests through conversations and offering intuitive recommendations. They maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area and ensure that standards are met daily. Additionally, bartenders must have a firm understanding of all menu items including their ingredients, preparation methods, and garnishes to answer guest inquiries accurately and confidently. Ensuring guest satisfaction with drink presentation and quality is a critical aspect of this role.

In addition to direct customer service, bartenders are responsible for processing various payment methods accurately and completing end-of-shift paperwork efficiently. Promoting a positive and safe work environment through teamwork is encouraged to maintain a cohesive and enjoyable workplace. Because of the nature of the role, bartenders need to check guests’ identification to adhere to legal requirements and monitor beverage consumption to prevent over-service. This position requires standing for long periods and flexibility to work during weekends, holidays, and variable hours when needed.

Job Duties

  • Be knowledgeable of all menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes
