The role of Bartender at The Elizabeth Hotel and Emporium offers a unique opportunity to be part of the vibrant hospitality scene in Fort Collins. The bartender is responsible for setting up the bar, mixing drinks according to established recipes and company policies, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area. The role demands a strong focus on guest satisfaction and safety, including compliance with state liquor laws and company standards. Additionally, bartenders manage cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently while completing all side work and inventory requisitions on schedule.

Candidates for this position should have at least six months of bartending experience and be certified in bartending training and TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures). They must be at least 21 years old to comply with alcohol service laws. The physical demands of the role include lifting and carrying trays and supplies, continuous standing for the duration of shifts, and navigating crowded, narrow spaces with agility. Bartenders at The Elizabeth must be highly organized, capable of multitasking in a busy environment, and able to communicate effectively in English. Job Requirements

  • Continuous standing throughout shift
  • Ability to bend, kneel, and maneuver in tight spaces
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Must be able to handle cash accurately
  • Must comply with state liquor laws

  • Complete liquor requisitions and maintain established inventory pars
  • Perform all sidework duties according to schedule
