This role also demands the capability to properly prepare and present drinks using the appropriate glassware, ingredients, garnishes, and preparation methods. Key responsibilities include setting up the bar at the start of each shift, completing closing procedures such as restocking and cleaning, accurate cash handling, and ensuring all service complies with relevant alcohol service laws and gaming regulations. Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must successfully pass all required background checks
- Must complete and maintain all required alcohol awareness and food/alcohol safety certifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Internal candidates must have at least six months in their current position with no active corrective action in the past six months
- Ability to move throughout the bar and work area for the duration of the shift
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and perform repetitive movements
- Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, twist, and reach as necessary
- Ability to tolerate temperature changes and frequent immersion of hands in water, cleaning, and sanitizing solutions
- Ability to read, interpret, and input information using POS and computer systems
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Must possess manual dexterity to operate POS systems, glasswashers, bar tools, and mixing equipment
- Requires adequate hand-eye coordination and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Successful completion and maintenance of required alcohol awareness and food/alcohol safety certifications
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and perform repetitive movements
- Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, twist, and reach as necessary
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Manual dexterity to operate POS systems, glasswashers, bar tools, and mixing equipment
- Ability to read, interpret, and input information using POS and computer systems
Job Duties
- Mix and serve beverages according to specified recipes and company standards
- Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, liquor brands, beer selections, wine offerings, and non-alcoholic options
- Demonstrate proper use of glassware, ingredients, preparation methods, and garnishes for all drinks
- Set up the bar at the beginning of each shift and complete all closing procedures, including restocking, fruit prep, cleaning equipment, and organizing work areas
- Maintain accurate cash-handling procedures, process payments, and balance the bank during each shift
- Stock and replenish liquors, beers, wines, mixers, garnishes, glassware, ice, and supplies throughout the shift
- Rotate products to maintain freshness and quality
- Assist in training and mentoring new Team Members when requested
- Maintain compliance with alcohol service laws, gaming regulations, and company policies
