Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • stand for long periods of time
  • be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • properly use a knife and other equipment required to execute necessary tasks
  • maintain a current Food Handler's Certification and TABC Certification
  • practice proper sanitation procedures and follow regulations regarding alcohol sale and service

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • proper use of knives and necessary equipment
  • maintain current Food Handler's Certification
  • maintain current TABC Certification
  • practice proper sanitation and follow alcohol sale regulations

Job Duties

  • Interact with guests and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner
  • arrive on time for scheduled shifts, ready to work
  • properly assemble and disassemble the bar area according to standard procedures
  • maintain cleanliness of the entire bar during shifts
  • prepare all drinks, garnishes, mixers, and syrups according to recipes
  • assist guests with menu questions and continually improve knowledge of liquor, beer, and wine
  • handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
  • execute appropriate food delivery and placement at tables
  • pre-bus and manicure tables throughout the restaurant
  • communicate issues promptly to management
  • collaborate positively with coworkers and management
  • perform opening and closing duties including cleaning and sanitizing
  • set up the team for the next shift
  • practice proper sanitation and comply with alcohol sales regulations
  • participate in continuing education courses
  • maintain beverage inventory and restock bar supplies
  • assist with washing and restocking glassware
  • maintain records of spills and comps
  • clean and maintain all equipment and utensils
  • report equipment issues immediately
  • have complete knowledge of the food and bar menu and mixing procedures
