Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous bartending or serving experience preferred
  • strong work ethic
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
  • ability to adhere to company policies and procedures
  • availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in bartending or serving in a hospitality setting preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • knowledge of food and beverage service standards
  • customer service orientation
  • basic math skills for handling transactions
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • team player with a positive attitude

Job Duties

  • Maintain a guest focus while performing duties
  • welcome and greet guests
  • comply with liquor pour standards as set by Food & Beverage Director
  • inform guests of any food and beverage specials
  • be knowledgeable and able to answer questions about our food, beverages, and other restaurant and resort functions and services
  • take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in point-of-sale system
  • prepare and serve beverages for guests in a timely and accurate manner
  • perform side work during each shift as required by service station assignments
  • complete opening and closing side work
  • maintain clean and stocked service and dining areas
  • monitor and observe guests dining experience
  • ensure guests are satisfied with the food and beverage service
  • respond promptly and courteously to any requests
  • prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, and process through the POS system
  • thank the guests for their visit and invite them to return
  • notify the manager-on-duty any time a guest is not 100 percent satisfied with their experience
  • have complete knowledge of all policies, standards, and procedures of the department
