We are currently seeking a versatile Server / Bartender to join our energetic front-of-house team. This hybrid role is designed for an adaptable individual who is equally comfortable working as a server or bartender depending on business needs. In this dynamic position, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service whether serving tables or crafting cocktails. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, engaging with guests to create warm, attentive, and memorable dining experiences.

Your role will involve taking food and beverage orders accurately, preparing and serving a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks following established recipes and standards, and efficiently managing payment transactions. You will maintain organized and clean workstations, collaborate closely with your team to enhance service flow, and uphold the company's commitment to safety and responsible alcohol service. Flexibility in availability, especially during AM and PM shifts and weekends, is preferred to meet business demands.

Job Requirements

  • Open availability preferred including AM/PM shifts and weekends
  • previous serving or bartending experience required
  • ability to multitask in a cross-functional role
  • strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • familiarity with alcohol service guidelines
  • basic math skills for handling cash and POS transactions

Job Qualifications

  • Previous serving and/or bartending experience
  • comfortable working in both server and bartender positions
  • strong communication skills
  • positive attitude
  • ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • flexibility with scheduling including nights, weekends, and peak shifts
  • experience with POS systems like Toast is a plus

Job Duties

  • Provide warm, attentive, and knowledgeable service to guests throughout their dining experience
  • take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
  • prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards
  • maintain strong knowledge of menu items, cocktails, beer, wine, and featured specials
  • work both server and bartender shifts based on scheduling and business needs
  • deliver food and drinks promptly while maintaining excellent guest interaction
  • process payments and handle POS transactions accurately
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, service stations, and dining room
  • collaborate closely with the front-of-house team to support smooth service
  • follow all alcohol service and safety guidelines
