The company operates based on its core Diamond Philosophy which emphasizes consistently doing one’s best while striving for continual improvement. This ethos fosters a culture of servant leadership and invests deeply in the personal and professional growth of its team members, rewarding performance and encouraging long-term career development.
A Bartender at Pacific Seafood holds a pivotal role in the Retail team, directly enhancing the guest experience through exceptional service. This position goes beyond typical bartending duties by encompassing responsibilities such as bar inventory management, development of beverage menus, brand consistency, and fostering a collaborative team environment. The bartender is tasked with creating a welcoming environment for guests by professionally mixing, garnishing, and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages tailored to company specifications. They are also responsible for cash handling, maintaining an orderly and legally compliant bar area, and ensuring adherence to health and safety guidelines.
Pacific Seafood’s bartender role is well-suited for individuals who are personable, detail-oriented, and adaptable, with a strong passion for mixology trends and creativity. The position demands excellent bartending skills in a fast-paced setting while supporting the development and accountability of the bar team. In addition, bartenders are expected to contribute to the broader service team by providing training in wine and spirits and assisting in the dining room when needed.
The successful candidate must be knowledgeable of regulatory compliance related to alcohol service, including preventing intoxication and managing situations involving intoxicated guests. The environment requires physical stamina and agility as bartenders may occasionally engage in climbing, balancing, lifting up to 25 pounds, and navigating slippery or uneven surfaces while maintaining a clean workspace.
Pacific Seafood supports its team members with a comprehensive compensation and benefits package that includes paid sick time, purchase programs for products, and access to an employee assistance program offering confidential counseling, financial guidance, and legal support for employees and their immediate families. This ensures that bartenders not only play a critical role in maintaining operational excellence but also enjoy a supportive workplace conducive to growth and satisfaction. The company is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion, providing equal employment opportunities to all qualified applicants regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, or protected veteran status.
