The Bartender role at the Samuel Adams Boston Brewery is a full-time, seasonal position that invites enthusiastic individuals to become brand ambassadors within a fast-paced taproom environment. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bartender license if required by state law
  • Experience in hospitality or a customer-facing service environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods up to 11 hours
  • Ability to safely operate equipment and handle materials
  • Manual dexterity to prepare and serve beverages
  • Ability to navigate physical requirements such as climbing stairs, working at heights, crouching, or crawling

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED

  • CPR or First Aid certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Deliver exceptional, customer-first service and create a welcoming, positive taproom atmosphere
  • Engage guests with beer samples and promote products including growler fills
  • Educate customers on craft beer, brewing processes, and ingredients
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while acting as a brand ambassador
  • Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash responsibly
  • Use sound judgment and clear communication when interacting with guests and team members
  • Collaborate with taproom team members and escalate situations when appropriate
  • Adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment with frequent customer interaction and changing needs
  • Work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
