Job Description

The Roosevelt Room located in Liberty Center is a premier destination known for its dramatically stylized interior that pays homage to the life and legacy of Theodore Roosevelt, the 26th President of the United States. This bar stands out with a unique thematic concept reflected not only in its décor but also in its carefully curated craft cocktail menu. The flagship cocktail, The Roosevelt, is inspired by Teddy Roosevelt's favorite drink, the mint julep, which he famously enjoyed while watching tennis matches. Beyond cocktails, The Roosevelt Room offers an impressive selection of wines available both on draft and from bottles along with a broad, robust beer list. This establishment is not just a bar but a place where history meets modern mixology, creating a vibrant atmosphere that appeals to both casual drinkers and cocktail enthusiasts alike.

We are currently seeking a skilled Bartender with 1-2 years of bartending experience in a high-volume bar setting to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for those who are passionate about craft cocktails, enjoy engaging with guests, and thrive in a fast-paced, energetic environment. As a bartender at The Roosevelt Room, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality drinks that meet the standards of our thematic menu while providing exceptional customer service. The role offers both part-time and full-time employment opportunities and promises competitive pay with a fun work environment where you essentially get paid to be part of the social scene. Our team environment is collaborative, supportive, and focused on delivering memorable guest experiences fueled by teamwork, positivity, and professionalism.

The successful candidate will bring strong communication skills, a hospitality-driven mindset, and the ability to maintain composure and efficiency during busy service hours. You will be expected to help foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages guests to return not just for the drinks but for the overall experience. We value individuals who are accountable, reliable, and maintain clean and organized workspaces. Additionally, proficiency with POS systems and a solid understanding of wine, beer, and cocktail styles and appropriate glassware is essential. We offer excellent incentives, team events, and opportunities for career growth, along with an employee assistance program and comprehensive benefits for full-time staff including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. After one year of employment, eligible employees can also participate in our 401(k) savings plan with company match.

Join The Roosevelt Room and be part of a venue where history, craftsmanship, and hospitality combine to create an exceptional bar experience. This is your chance to advance your bartending career while working in an environment that values your skills, creativity, and dedication to excellent service. If you are passionate about bartending and want to join a team that values hard work and fun equally, this is the place for you.
