As a bartender at AREA15, you will play an integral role in delivering exceptional guest experiences across a variety of restaurants located within the district. This position demands working in high-energy environments where strong communication skills and professional service are paramount. Your responsibilities will include accurately taking and inputting orders, ensuring compliance with all Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) standards, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. In addition to mixing and serving beverages, you will be expected to actively engage with guests, provide knowledgeable recommendations, and assist in promoting the brand through promotional activities and themed events.

This role requires a thorough understanding of food and beverage service techniques, a warm and friendly attitude, and the ability to maintain professionalism even during busy periods. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in bartending or hospitality
Knowledge of SNHD regulations and standards
Ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately
Strong communication skills
Ability to work in fast-paced, high-energy environments
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Must maintain professional appearance and demeanor
Capable of standing for long periods
Must be at least 21 years old

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of beverage mixing techniques and drink recipes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and efficiently
Knowledge of food and beverage ordering systems
Familiarity with SNHD standards and compliance
Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Customer service orientation and positive attitude

Job Duties

Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them into the ordering system
Communicate any food allergies or special dietary needs to the kitchen staff
Ensure prompt, accurate, and high-quality food service to guests
Provide attentive service to guests, including refilling drinks and attending to their needs during meals
Mix beverages and serve food to guests, adhering to department policies and procedures
Pose for pictures, in uniform or designated (logo) apparel, for promotional activities
Participate and dress up in costumes for events, movie and/or themed parties
Consistently provide outstanding service to all guests, maintaining a professional demeanor and friendly attitude
Set up bar for full operation, ensuring all supplies are readily available
Maintain a clean workstation abiding by SNHD standards, including washing and polishing glassware, flatware, and dishes
Accurately describe product details and educate guests on specialty items and offerings
Utilize suggestive selling for top products and upsell such as alcohol add-ons or additional menu item recommendations
Handle credit transactions at the point of sales system accurately
Provide an accurate inventory count of product prior and at the end of every shift
Be a brand advocate providing guests with accurate information regarding venues, menus, and pricing
Monitor potentially intoxicated or disruptive guests and promptly bring concerns to a manager
Respond to guest concerns or complaints with a positive attitude
Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards
Perform other duties as assigned
