Job Requirements

  • Experience in hospitality, service, or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of drink preparation and bartending preferred
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines

  • Flexible availability including days, nights, holidays, weekends
  • Punctuality with clocking in and out as scheduled
  • Clock in and out for breaks at designated times
  • Provide sufficient notice when calling out for scheduled shifts

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise, or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of drink preparation and previous bartender experience preferred
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to follow instructions, assigned tasks, and meet deadlines

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
  • Use guest names whenever possible to ensure guests feel welcomed
  • Contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
  • Maintain strong knowledge of all hotel features and amenities
  • Support events taking place at the hotel
  • Use relevant technology effectively as required by the role
  • Answer incoming calls with friendly service using approved greeting
  • Keep all front and back of house workspaces clean and well-organized
  • Participate in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
  • Greet every guest happily by name if possible while cleaning
  • Complete all operational checklists accurately and on time each shift
  • Provide accurate and timely shift handover reports
  • Maintain clean and approved uniform appearance with nametag and smile
  • Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
  • Demonstrate a can-do attitude and willingness to stretch beyond traditional role
  • Collaborate effectively with team to create welcoming environment
  • Greet guests and give clear descriptions of food and beverage options
  • Maintain proper setup and organization of bar area
  • Stock beer, wine, spirits, paper products, condiments, and produce
  • Mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes with portion control
  • Attend monthly departmental meetings
  • Input orders into computer and secure accurate payment
  • Manage cash including receiving, making change, verifying charges, recording, and balancing
  • Securely store beverages, food, and equipment items and lock up at shift end
  • Sanitize and clean in and around the bar area
  • Complete daily inventory prep sheet and other side work
  • Maintain knowledge of current food and beverage offerings and promote them
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and handling policies
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness of restaurant and surrounding areas
  • Demonstrate knowledge of hotel hours and available amenities
  • Work effectively with service and kitchen teams
