Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • No prior experience required
  • Ability to stand regularly and perform physical tasks including occasional walking, POS computer work and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work full time and adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of safety standards and responsible alcohol service

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Extensive knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and classic and modern cocktails
  • Understanding of garnishes, glassware and drink presentations
  • Strong customer service and hospitality skills to engage with guests efficiently and provide recommendations
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem-solving skills to address customer concerns, drink modifications or inventory shortages
  • Effective communication and teamwork to coordinate with servers, barbacks and management
  • Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and ability to recognize signs of intoxication
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and composure during busy periods

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences
  • Engage with guests, take orders and provide recommendations based on taste preferences
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and sanitizing surfaces
  • Manage inventory by restocking supplies, monitoring ingredient levels, and reducing waste
  • Process payments accurately and efficiently using POS system
  • Follow alcohol service regulations and company policies to ensure responsible service
  • Collaborate with servers, barbacks and management to ensure smooth operations
  • Create a welcoming and energetic atmosphere while maintaining professionalism
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
