Job Description

This employment opportunity is presented by a vibrant and popular bar known for its commitment to providing an exceptional guest experience in a dynamic, high-energy environment. The establishment thrives on delivering quality service combined with a welcoming atmosphere where patrons can enjoy responsibly served alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. As a cornerstone of the hospitality industry, this bar has cultivated a reputation for its excellence in drink quality, customer service, and a safe, enjoyable experience for all guests. The work environment reflects the fast-paced nature of a busy bar, ideal for individuals who flourish under steady customer interaction and are passionate about mixology and guest satisfaction.

The available position is for a Bartender, a vital role responsible for both preparing and serving a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. The bartender must ensure the highest standard of customer service while adhering to company policies and legal requirements regarding alcohol service. This position is compensated with a base hourly wage of $16.37, which does not include potential tips, reflecting the industry norm for tipped roles. This presents an excellent earning opportunity for motivated individuals who excel in customer service.

As a Bartender, your duties will encompass fulfilling drink orders from both guests and servers, managing transactions including collecting payments and making correct change, and mixing drinks following precise recipes that use company-standardized proportions. Responsibility for maintaining bar stock by ordering liquors, beverages, condiments, and supplies ensures the bar operates smoothly and can meet customer expectations at all times. You will also be required to complete accurate sales and inventory reports, maintaining a tight control on stock and sales data critical for the business operations.

A strong emphasis is placed on responsible alcohol service. Bartenders are required to check identification, strictly adhere to all alcohol service policies, and ensure that drinks are served in accordance with state and local laws, promoting a safe, respectful, and alcohol-compliant environment. This safeguards not only the guests but also the reputation and legal standing of the establishment.

Physical demands of the role include extended periods of standing, walking, bending, reaching, and engaging in repetitive motions characteristic of bar service. Occasionally lifting stock up to 50 pounds is required, and employees should be prepared to work in moderately noisy environments, especially during peak business times.

The establishment is an equal opportunity employer that embraces diversity and inclusivity within its workforce. They encourage applications from all qualified individuals, actively fostering a workplace where employees feel empowered and can authentically be themselves. The company values respect, diversity, and inclusion as core elements of its culture, promoting a safe and welcoming environment for all team members.
