The Bartender role is crucial to ensuring guests receive a high-quality experience through the responsible service of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Responsibilities include fulfilling drink orders efficiently, managing transaction payments accurately, and ensuring all drinks are mixed to company standards following precise recipes. Bartenders must maintain compliance with all legal and internal policies regarding alcohol service, including verifying guests' eligibility to consume alcohol. Inventory management is also essential; this includes ordering and maintaining adequate stock levels of liquors, beverages, and bar supplies. The role demands excellent interpersonal skills to engage with guests and team members, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Physical stamina is vital due to constant standing, walking, and occasional heavy lifting during shifts. The position requires at least two years of front-of-house experience in a fast-paced bar or restaurant setting, cash handling proficiency, and familiarity with computerized point of sale systems.
