The Hilton Garden Inn Seattle Downtown is recruiting a part-time Bartender to join their vibrant Food & Beverage team. This role offers an hourly wage of $21.30 and is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences. As a Bartender, you will be the heart of the bar service, bringing energy and professionalism to every interaction. - Possess current bartender certification or license
Job Qualifications
- Current bartender certification or appropriate license
- 2-4 years of bartending experience
- Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits
- Knowledgeable in the latest trends around mixology
- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Engaging and welcoming personality
Job Duties
- Greet guests as they arrive or move about the bar area
- Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily
- Guide guests on their beverage journey through descriptive selling of the menu
- Be accurate in order taking, confirming all special requests
- Be the master of the bar, understanding details to enhance conversation
- Work collaboratively with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
- Assist guests who have concerns to guide them to a resolution that leaves them happy
- Finalize the experience through timely and accurate bill presentation
- Requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits
- Maintain stock, cut and store fresh fruit, vegetable garnishes, juices, and perishables daily to ensure product quality
- Mix, garnish, and present drinks following standard ingredient recipes and practicing portion control
- Input orders into a register at the point of sale and create a check for each guest
- Lock up and store all beverages, food and equipment items, deposit cash drops and secure bank
