We are currently seeking friendly, motivated, and service-oriented individuals to join our team of Bartenders. This role is based primarily in the Clubhouse's bar and pub areas, offering a unique atmosphere paired with scenic views that enhance the member experience. Bartenders will also serve at special events held at various locations on the club's campus, adding variety and opportunity to interact with members across different settings. Successful candidates will possess a warm and engaging demeanor, enjoy crafting both classic and creative cocktails, and have a genuine passion for serving others. The Bartender position requires an individual capable of working collaboratively with culinary and dining service teams to ensure every member and guest enjoys an impeccable bar and dining experience. This is a part-time position with evening, weekend, and holiday availability, paying a starting rate of $17.00 per hour. Job Requirements
- Must be 19 years of age or older
- Must have a valid food handler certification or be able to obtain one prior to start date
- Must be punctual, have reliable attendance, a valid driver's license, and dependable transportation
- Must be able to abide by the OCC Tobacco, Alcohol and Drug Policy
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time and be able to lift 30 pounds
- Bartending experience at a high-end private club, hotel/resort or restaurant preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of craft and classic cocktails, beer, and wine
- Genuine desire to provide the utmost in service excellence
- Exhibits a neat, clean and professional appearance
- A natural team player with a friendly, optimistic, can-do attitude
- Self-motivated, understands the importance of being efficient and keeping busy
- Able to multi-task and problem solve while working in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of being discreet while handling conversations and issues with confidentiality
- Strong verbal communication skills while always striving for accuracy
- Must be fluent in English

Job Duties
- Go above and beyond, working collaboratively with the culinary and dining service teams to ensure all members and guests enjoy an impeccable bar and dining experience
- Serve all members of Omaha Country Club with a warm, approachable, respectful, professional demeanor with the intent of developing and nurturing relationships over time
- Maintain an efficiently run bar area that is clean, neat and appropriately stocked
- Prepare and serve craft and classic cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, beer and wine
- Greet members and guests promptly, take food and beverage orders, and ensure all orders are served promptly and to member specifications
- Develop knowledge of menu items to accurately answer questions about ingredients, cooking techniques, and wine pairings
- Clear dishes to ensure proper cleanliness during and after meal service
- Accurately enter transaction information into the computerized POS system
- Abide by all state and federal regulations and policies for serving alcoholic beverages
