Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years bartending experience in a busy restaurant setting
- Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Verbal communication skills with customers and team members
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and kneel for entire shift
- Obtain RBS Certification within first week of employment if working in California
- Legal right to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience bartending in a high-volume restaurant
- Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to verbally communicate with customers and coworkers
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and kneel for the duration of shift
- RBS Certification must be obtained within first week of employment for California locations
Job Duties
- Welcome guests and guide patrons to help determine beverage preferences, make recommendations, upsell and take drink orders
- Check identification and strictly follow all ABC guidelines to ensure customers are of legal age to purchase alcohol
- Select and mix ingredients, garnish glasses, and serve beverages and food orders to customers
- Inform customers about new menu items and specials
- Manage inventory and order supplies to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked
- Serve food and remove used dishware, cutlery and glassware in a timely fashion
- Carefully assess customer alcohol intake to avoid overserving
- Adhere to all food safety, service, and quality regulations
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register
- Maintain a clean work environment by helping clean the dining area, tables, bar area, including and washing glasses, utensils, and applicable equipment
- Other duties as assigned
