This particular role of Bartender is a part-time, seasonal, hourly/temporary position associated with the upcoming 2026 World Cup Games, held at the Intrepid Museum Pier 86 in New York City. The bartender will be responsible for providing high-quality beverage service to guests attending this major international sporting event. The venue, managed through the partnership between Legends Global and the Intrepid Museum, is a premier destination in NYC attracting thousands of visitors. The hospitality service areas include a full quick-service restaurant, an outdoor seasonal kiosk offering beverages and snacks, catering events, and a lighter fare concept aboard the historic Intrepid ship. This role will engage with diverse guests, serving up to 10,000 visitors almost every day and ensuring fast, friendly, and efficient service that upholds the high standards of the Legends Global brand.

The Bartender is primarily responsible for the accurate service and accounting of all alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage transactions, including inventory management. This entails setting up beverage stations, handling cash and credit transactions securely, maintaining sanitation standards, enforcing liquor laws, and providing excellent customer service at all times. Given the nature of the events and the volume of guests, the position demands agility, strong multitasking capabilities, attention to detail, and a customer-first attitude.

Working conditions include outdoor service at Pier 86, requiring stamina and the ability to work under varying weather conditions including extreme heat. The role also requires physical demands such as lifting and transporting beverages and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds, constant standing, walking, bending, and repetitive motions. Candidates should be prepared for extended hours and varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the schedule of large-scale event operations.
