The role of the bartender (barman) is pivotal in upholding the company’s standards and enhancing the guest experience through quality drink preparation and service. This full-time position requires the bartender to prepare and serve beverages to guests and beverage servers in adherence to all company policies and health department standards. The bartender will be responsible for processing transactions efficiently using the company’s point-of-sale (P.O.S.) system and managing cash drawers with accuracy to account for any cash variances. This role demands meticulous attention to detail to ensure that the bar is fully stocked at all times, with careful inventory management to avoid product overages or shortages.

In addition to the core responsibilities of preparing and serving drinks, the bartender must have extensive knowledge of wines, spirits, beverages, cordials, and after-dinner drinks to meet varied customer tastes. Cash handling experience is essential for this position to promote secure and accurate transaction processing. Effective communication skills are necessary to interact clearly and professionally with guests and team members alike. This role also requires the bartender to possess thorough understanding of alcohol classifications, glassware types, brand names, cocktail recipes, garnishes, and the correct use of soda, juice, and liquor guns for efficient service.

This position requires candidates to be at least 21 years old and able to work in compliance with labor laws and health regulations. Candidates must be capable of obtaining required work permits and gaming registries when applicable, demonstrating both legal compliance and professionalism.
