Job Description

The Signia by Hilton La Cantera Resort and Spa offers a luxurious and serene resort experience located high above the rolling hills and live oaks of the Texas Hill Country. This prestigious establishment features over 140,000 square feet of event space, allowing it to host a wide variety of events ranging from corporate gatherings to weddings and conventions. Guests at Signia by Hilton La Cantera can indulge in a luxury spa, outdoor pools, and enjoy amenities such as a kid’s camp and an 18-hole championship golf course, making the resort an ideal destination for families, leisure travelers, and business clients alike. The property also boasts access to premier shopping, diverse dining options across four unique restaurants, and five bars, ensuring that every guest experience is as convenient as it is enjoyable. Located within proximity to famous attractions like Six Flags and the San Antonio Airport, the resort is positioned to provide visitors with access to entertainment and travel beyond the property grounds.

The Signia by Hilton La Cantera Resort and Spa is currently seeking a part-time Bartender for Primero, a key role within their hospitality team. As a Bartender, you will be more than just a service provider; you will be the face of the resort’s vibrant bar scene, creating a welcoming and memorable experience for each guest. The role requires at least one year of bartending experience and candidates must be at least 21 years of age. This position demands open availability for both morning and evening shifts, with weekend availability being essential to meet guest demand during peak times.

In this role, you will be responsible for delighting guests by bringing an upbeat and friendly attitude to all interactions, ensuring every visitor feels valued and cared for. You will prepare and serve beverages following precise recipe standards, maintaining the highest levels of quality and satisfaction. Maintaining smooth bar operations is a crucial part of the job, involving the stocking and organization of bar supplies such as beverages, glassware, and perishables. Handling payments accurately through the point-of-sale system is required, including cash, credit/debit cards, gift certificates, and vouchers.

Additionally, you will oversee the quality of products, manage inventory, and ensure that all beverage-related items are fresh and up to standard. Professionalism is key when addressing guest concerns, especially when managing situations involving intoxicated guests with care, respect, and an emphasis on safety. Compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations is mandatory, ensuring the well-being of all guests and team members.

By joining Hilton, you become part of an award-winning workplace culture recognized globally for exceptional hospitality and commitment to team member development. Hilton invests in the wellbeing of its employees by offering a comprehensive suite of benefits and career development opportunities, making it not just a job but a career destination. At Hilton, hospitality is about spreading light and warmth, acting with integrity, inspiring leadership, valuing teamwork, and taking ownership and accountability to make a lasting positive impact. This is the perfect opportunity for someone passionate about hospitality to thrive in a supportive and dynamic environment while contributing to an extraordinary guest experience.
