As a bartender at Hotel Indigo Naperville Riverwalk, you will be the friendly face welcoming guests to our hotel bars, creating a warm and memorable experience. Your role goes beyond just mixing and serving drinks – you are a helpful host and an ambassador of the hotel brand, offering expert recommendations and engaging with guests to ensure their visit is enjoyable. This position demands attention to detail and a dedication to upholding high service standards, including preparing drinks to exact guest specifications and supporting seamless food service alongside restaurant colleagues. You will also be responsible for managing and setting up the bar, monitoring inventory, ensuring the cleanliness and security of the premises, handling cash and credit transactions accurately, and adhering strictly to safety and compliance procedures.
This role is physically engaging, requiring stamina to be on your feet for extended periods and the strength to handle inventory that includes lifting objects up to 50 pounds. Successful candidates will have previous bartending experience, ideally complemented by formal training, and demonstrate excellent communication skills to create a welcoming environment. Flexibility is essential, as the role includes night, weekend, and holiday shifts. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- able to stand for extended periods
- physically capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds
- basic literacy and numeracy skills
- compliant with all local legal requirements for alcohol service
- minimum age requirement met
- fluent in the local language
- flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
