The part-time Bartender position at Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley plays a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience by delivering quick, efficient, and friendly beverage service. The bartender is responsible for preparing and serving a diverse selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks accurately in line with Four Seasons' established recipes and standards. This role demands thorough knowledge of all bar products, including liquors, wines, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs, and specialty drinks, to confidently describe each item to guests. Building rapport with guests and ensuring their satisfaction through attentive and above-and-beyond service is central to the role.

The bartender must confirm guest orders meticulously, accommodate any special requests, and operate the hotel’s point-of-sale system efficiently. The Bartender position requires physical stamina as the role involves standing for the entire shift and interacting with guests in a courteous and professional manner. Ideal candidates bring 2-3 years of experience in upscale establishments, preferably within hotel or resort environments, along with wine, beer, and spirit knowledge. Possessing necessary certifications for food handling and alcohol service as mandated by local or state laws is essential.
