Peregrine Hospitality is a renowned company in the hospitality industry known for operating high-quality hotels and providing exceptional guest experiences through its various food and beverage services. With a commitment to excellence, Peregrine Hospitality emphasizes a professional and welcoming environment, striving to create memorable stays for all guests. As part of their ongoing efforts to maintain high service standards, they are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Bartender to join their team. This establishment operates within a dynamic and fast-paced sector where customer satisfaction is paramount, and attention to detail significantly impacts the overall guest experience. The employment type is full-time, and the restaurant and bar environment offers employees opportunities to develop their skills while working in a collaborative team setting with supportive management and comprehensive training programs. The Bartender position plays a vital role in the food and beverage department, responsible for preparing both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, servicing guests courteously, and ensuring the bar area is organized and maintained according to company standards.
As a Bartender with Peregrine Hospitality, the role involves servicing guests efficiently across multiple outlets including the restaurant and bar. Core responsibilities include preparing beverages according to established recipes and service standards, anticipating guest needs to provide exceptional service, taking food and drink orders using suggestive selling techniques, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of all bar stations. The Bartender supports fellow restaurant servers, cocktail servers, and barbacks to deliver seamless service. This role also involves performing opening and closing duties such as checking the quality and quantity of bar stock, requisitioning supplies, setting up bartending stations, and adhering to all safety, payment, and cash handling procedures. Certification such as TIPS and Food Safety is required, emphasizing the importance of responsible alcohol service and compliance with health regulations.
The successful candidate must demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills, with an ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina is essential due to the nature of the role, which involves lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing tasks requiring dexterity and attention to detail. Knowledge of beverage recipes, correct glassware and garnishes, as well as state liquor laws is crucial. The Bartender is expected to work cohesively with the entire food and beverage team and uphold the company’s mission, vision, and service goals. Safety and security standards must be followed rigorously, and the individual must be attentive to guest needs while maintaining a polished and professional demeanor at all times. Peregrine Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion and offers reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions effectively.
