The company is currently seeking a part-time Bartender to join the team at the Westhampton Hotel Bath & Tennis located at 231 Dune Road, Westhampton Beach, NY 11978. This role is critical in providing an exceptional experience for guests by efficiently and courteously preparing and serving beverages in a high-volume bar setting. The position offers a fixed pay rate of $18.00 per hour with scheduling on Fridays, Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays, with hours varying and further details provided during the interview. Candidates with previous experience in high-volume bar environments are preferred, ensuring they can handle fast-paced service while maintaining adherence to liquor laws and quality standards.
The Bartender will be responsible for setting up and stocking the bar, preparing fresh garnishes and drinks using standardized recipes, and maintaining an organized and clean bar area. This role requires an awareness of legal regulations regarding alcohol service, including checking IDs and monitoring guest intoxication. Additionally, the bartender handles cash transactions, secures the bar area, and collaborates with other team members to deliver outstanding customer service. Job Requirements
- Previous high volume bar experience required
- Ability to work part time on Fridays, Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays
- Must be able to adhere to state and federal liquor laws

Job Qualifications

- Previous high volume bar experience

Job Duties
- Adheres to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
- Sets up assigned bars and stocks all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce
- Maintains stock, prepares, cures and stores all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality
- Greets guests in a courteous, friendly manner
- Takes and/or processes orders for drinks, mixes, garnishes and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes
- Checks guests at the bar for proper identification
- Detects and acts upon guest inebriation as trained
- Demonstrates knowledge of liquor laws
- Receives cash from guests, makes change, verifies validity of charges, records charges and ensures vouchers are properly executed
- Locks up and stores all beverage product, food, equipment items, deposits and cash drops
- secures bank
- Performs general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards
- keeps work area clean and organized
- Arranges bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in the bar area
- Washes and sterilizes stemware
- Performs other duties as assigned
