We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Bartender to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is central to the hotel’s commitment to providing a superior guest experience by offering quick, efficient, and knowledgeable beverage service. The Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks that meet the exacting Four Seasons standards. It requires a comprehensive understanding of beverage offerings including liquors, wines, ports, armagnacs, eau de vie, cognacs, and specialty drinks.
Beyond technical skills, this position demands an individual who excels in building rapport with guests, delivering above-and-beyond service, and who thrives in an energetic, fast-paced environment. The Bartender acts as an ambassador of the brand, offering vivid and engaging descriptions of beverages, ensuring all orders are accurately fulfilled, and maintaining close communication with the lounge servers and guests using the hotel’s point-of-sale system. Exceptional interpersonal skills, flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evening shifts, and the ability to remain on one's feet for the entire duration of the shift are essential.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two to three years of serving experience in upscale dining or hospitality settings
- Knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits
- Ability to obtain food handling or alcohol serving certifications as required by local or state agencies
- Hotel or resort experience preferred
- Ability to stand for entire shift
- Strong communication skills
- Above and beyond attitude
- Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and evenings
- Legal eligibility to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Two to three years serving experience in an upscale establishment
- Knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits
- Ability to obtain required food handling or alcohol serving certifications

Job Duties
- Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks according to established recipes and Four Seasons Standards
- Build rapport with guests by providing above and beyond service
- Confirm guest orders including special needs or requests using the hotel’s point-of-sale system
- Check completed orders against the guest’s original order
- Serve and take orders from guests seated at the bar while offering vivid descriptions of each item's origin, taste, and preparation methods
- Maintain working knowledge of liquors, wines, beers, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs, and specialty drinks
- Communicate effectively with guests and team members to ensure seamless service
