Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- relevant experience in hotel or related hospitality field preferred
- ability to stand for entire shift
- ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 20 pounds frequently
- flexible to work long and varying hours
- effective verbal and written communication skills
- must maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
- comply with all hotel standards and regulations
- attend all required meetings and trainings
- demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills
- maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- ability to listen to and clarify guest concerns appropriately
- work effectively under pressure
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- experience in hotel or related field preferred
- effective verbal and written communication skills
- ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions
- friendly, courteous and attentive service demeanor

- ability to maintain confidentiality
- ability to follow safety protocols and hotel policies
- ability to cross-train in other hotel related areas
Job Duties
- set up the bar according to hotel standards
- prepare beverages and cocktails according to the hotel’s mixing and presentation standards
- serve guests with all beverage requirements in a friendly, courteous and professional manner
- maintain the service and cleanliness of the bar area throughout shifts
- break down bar after completion of functions, storing liquor, supplies and equipment properly
- follow all state liquor laws and hotel policies
- respond to guests’ problems, complaints and accidents in a courteous and effective manner
