We are currently seeking a skilled Bartender to join the team at The Ambassador Hotel of Waikiki. This hourly position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality environment. The Bartender plays a critical role in setting up the bar area and mixing drinks for guests and servers. This role demands maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service quality while ensuring proper inventory control. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a friendly and professional demeanor, and a strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities include preparing beverages according to hotel standards, serving guests promptly, maintaining bar cleanliness, adhering to state liquor laws, and contributing to overall guest satisfaction. Moreover, the Bartender will play a key part in handling guest concerns with care and courtesy and will support safety protocols within the establishment.

The role requires physical stamina, including the capability to stand for an entire shift and occasionally exert moderate physical force. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience in a hotel or related field is preferred. Flexibility to work various shifts and long hours is necessary to meet the needs of the hotel. Highgate emphasizes a professional appearance and adherence to company standards and policies.
