The location is an outdoor enthusiast's dream, offering a variety of seasonal activities such as hiking, mountain biking, fishing, kayaking, water skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, ziplining, and more. The resort features amenities including a bar and restaurant, spa and wellness center, outdoor pool, lake beach, and extensive meeting and events space covering over 23,000 square feet.

The position available is a seasonal Bartender role from June 2026 through mid-January 2027 at Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa. This role requires a highly motivated, customer-focused individual passionate about delivering memorable hospitality and exceptional guest experiences. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for engaging with guests from their initial greeting to their departure, ensuring every interaction is personable and genuine. Your duties will encompass preparing perfect beverages promptly, guiding guests through the beverage menu with descriptive selling techniques, maintaining bar setup, and working collaboratively with other restaurant and bar staff. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of mixology trends, possess current bartender certification or appropriate license, and have 2 to 4 years of bartending experience. This role demands a professional who thrives under pressure in a fast-paced environment, has excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating outstanding guest interactions.

Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Greet guests as they arrive or move about the bar area
  • Maintains proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily
  • Guide guests on their beverage journey through descriptive selling of the menu
  • Be accurate in your order taking, confirming all special requests
  • Be the master of the bar, understanding the details to enhance the conversation
  • Work collaboratively with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
  • Assist guests who have concerns to guide them to a resolution that leaves them happy
  • Finalize the experience through timely and accurate bill presentation
  • Requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits
  • Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storing all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to ensure product quality
  • Mix, garnish, and present drinks following standard ingredient recipes and practicing portion control
  • Input orders into a register at the point of sale and create a check for each guest
  • Lock up and store all beverages, food and other equipment items, deposit cash drops and secure bank
