Job Description
Palomino is a distinguished farm-to-table restaurant and event venue renowned for its dedication to authentic hospitality and locally sourced ingredients. Nestled within a vibrant community, Palomino prides itself on bringing guests an exceptional dining experience that honors seasonal produce, sustainable practices, and culinary artistry. The establishment blends an inviting ambiance with thoughtfully prepared dishes and drinks, making it a beloved destination for locals and visitors alike. Palomino's focus on quality extends beyond food to craft bar service, where bartenders play a pivotal role in connecting guests to the ethos of farm-to-table dining through expert drink preparation and personalized hospitality.
The Bartender position at Palomino is a dynamic and integral role that combines technical skill with engaging interpersonal interaction. As a Palomino Bartender, you are not only a craftsman shaking cocktails but also a host who fosters meaningful connections with guests. This role requires a passionate individual who can deliver consistent, high-quality beverages while maintaining warm and attentive service. You will be responsible for preparing cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages using fresh, seasonal ingredients, and showcasing a comprehensive knowledge of Palomino's rotating seasonal cocktail menu and beverage program. Your ability to communicate the origins, ingredients, and flavor profiles of drinks will enhance the guest experience, reinforcing the restaurant's commitment to sustainability and community engagement.
Working at Palomino means being part of a close-knit team that values collaboration, professionalism, and a positive work environment even during high-volume service periods. The bartender's duties extend beyond the bar station, involving tableside wine service, beverage pairings, event support, and strict adherence to California alcohol service laws. This role offers the opportunity to develop your craft in a vibrant, community-focused setting where your enthusiasm for food, drink, and hospitality will be appreciated. Palomino also welcomes diversity and is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job. The employment type is full-time with a competitive salary reflecting the quality and dedication expected from their bartenders.
