The Bartender role at Oak View Group is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and live events. The position is seasonal, running from June 25, 2026, through September 30, 2026, and offers an hourly wage between $16.90 and $17.90, along with eligibility for tips. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages during high-energy live events hosted at OVG venues. Job Requirements

valid RBS alcohol certification as required by California state law
valid California food handler certificate

Job Qualifications

must have a valid RBS alcohol certification as required by California state law
must have a valid California food handler certificate as required by state law
maintain a professional appearance by reporting to work in clean neat attire and following company standards for grooming and personal hygiene

Job Duties

meet company standards of excellence in guest service teamwork and uniform appearance
follow all bar pre-shift instructions bar menus and service guidelines as assigned
serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with all company policies and applicable state and federal alcohol service regulations
maintain knowledge of available beer wine and spirits selections and utilize suggestive selling techniques to enhance the guest experience
pour and serve beverages responsibly in accordance with company serving standards and portion guidelines
verify guest identification in compliance with state and federal regulations to confirm legal drinking age requirements
communicate and enforce alcohol service cut-offs when necessary
listen to and appropriately respond to guest requests questions and concerns in a professional manner
assist in de-escalating situations involving intoxicated guests and contact management or security if required
notify management when situations arise beyond standard decision-making authority or cannot be resolved independently
request additional product inventory and restock supplies as needed
accurately process guest transactions through the point-of-sale system
maintain a clean sanitary and organized workstation at all times
ensure all bar equipment is properly cleaned sanitized and maintained
perform additional duties including bar setup and breakdown stocking supplies and organizing cooler inventory
