Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Six months or more experience bartending
Accurate cash handling skills
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

Demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellence in guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards
Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures and state/federal regulations
Learn about various beer, wine, and spirits and suggestively upsell products to guests
Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
Check guest IDs to verify minimum age requirement for alcohol purchase
Communicate a cut-off to a guest as required
Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security as needed
Request additional product or restock as required
Handle cash accurately and be responsible for issue bank at the bar
Maintain a clean and sanitary work station
Ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
Set up and breakdown bar equipment as required
Assist with organization of cooler
Perform other duties as assigned
