Job Requirements

at least six months of bartending experience
ability to handle cash accurately
ability to work in a fast-paced environment
ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
strong interpersonal and communication skills
knowledge of state and federal alcohol service regulations
ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in work area

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellent guest service interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
follow the bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures for serving alcoholic drinks including state/federal regulations pertaining to the distribution of alcohol
learn or have knowledge of various beer wine varieties and spirits available and suggestively upsell products to guests
pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
check guest's ID in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages
communicate a cut-off to a guest as required
listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
de-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if necessary
contact management if unable to resolve or make decisions beyond standard scope
request additional product or restock product as required
handle cash accurately and manage issued bank at bar
maintain clean and sanitary work station and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
perform set-up and breakdown of bar equipment as required and assist with organization of cooler
