Job Requirements

  • at least six months of bartending experience
  • ability to handle cash accurately
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • knowledge of state and federal alcohol service regulations
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in work area

Job Qualifications

  • ability to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and long hours

Job Duties

  • demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellent guest service interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • follow the bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
  • serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures for serving alcoholic drinks including state/federal regulations pertaining to the distribution of alcohol
  • learn or have knowledge of various beer wine varieties and spirits available and suggestively upsell products to guests
  • pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
  • check guest's ID in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages
  • communicate a cut-off to a guest as required
  • listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • de-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if necessary
  • contact management if unable to resolve or make decisions beyond standard scope
  • request additional product or restock product as required
  • handle cash accurately and manage issued bank at bar
  • maintain clean and sanitary work station and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
  • perform set-up and breakdown of bar equipment as required and assist with organization of cooler
