- knowledge of state and federal alcohol service regulations
- ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in work area

Job Duties
- demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellent guest service interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
- follow the bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
- serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures for serving alcoholic drinks including state/federal regulations pertaining to the distribution of alcohol
- learn or have knowledge of various beer wine varieties and spirits available and suggestively upsell products to guests
- pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
- check guest's ID in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages
- communicate a cut-off to a guest as required
- listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
- de-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if necessary
- contact management if unable to resolve or make decisions beyond standard scope
- request additional product or restock product as required
- handle cash accurately and manage issued bank at bar
- maintain clean and sanitary work station and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
- perform set-up and breakdown of bar equipment as required and assist with organization of cooler
