The Bartender role at Oak View Group is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team that operates in fast-paced, high-energy environments. This position plays a crucial part in delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing professional and personable beverage service of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Bartenders are expected to not only fulfill beverage service needs but also uphold company standards regarding guest interaction, compliance with alcohol service regulations, and workplace cleanliness.

Bartenders at OVG work flexible schedules to accommodate events, including nights, weekends, and potentially long hours. This position is hourly paid, ranging from $12.50 to $13.00 per hour, and is eligible for tips, making it attractive to candidates passionate about customer service and hospitality. high school diploma or GED is preferred

Job Duties

demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellence in guest service interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
follow the bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures for serving alcoholic drinks including state federal regulations
responsible for learning or having knowledge of various beer wine varieties and spirits available and being able to suggestively upsell products to guests
pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
check the guest's ID in accordance with state federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement for purchase of alcoholic beverages
communicate a cut-off to a guest as required
listen and respond to any customer requests or concerns
de-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if needed
request additional products or restock products as needed
maintain a clean and sanitary workstation at all times and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
set up and break down bar equipment and assist with cooler organization as required
