The Bartender role at Oak View Group is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team that operates in fast-paced, high-energy environments. This position plays a crucial part in delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing professional and personable beverage service of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. - six months or more experience bartending
- high school diploma or GED is preferred
- bartending school preferred
- ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and long hours

Job Duties
- demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellence in guest service interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
- follow the bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
- serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures for serving alcoholic drinks including state federal regulations
- responsible for learning or having knowledge of various beer wine varieties and spirits available and being able to suggestively upsell products to guests
- pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
- check the guest's ID in accordance with state federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement for purchase of alcoholic beverages
- communicate a cut-off to a guest as required
- listen and respond to any customer requests or concerns
- de-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if needed
- request additional products or restock products as needed
- maintain a clean and sanitary workstation at all times and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
- set up and break down bar equipment and assist with cooler organization as required
