The Bartender role at Oak View Group is vital to maintaining the high standard of guest service expected from such prestigious venues.   • Must be able to handle cash accurately
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and long hours
  • Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and menus and provide service as described
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures and regulations
  • Learn and suggestively upsell various beers, wines, and spirits to guests
  • Pour drinks responsibly according to company serving size standards
  • Check guest IDs in accordance with legal age requirements
  • Communicate cut-offs to guests as needed
  • Respond to customer requests and concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if necessary
  • Request additional or restock products as required
  • Handle cash accurately and issue bank at the bar
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and ensure bar equipment is clean and maintained
  • Assist with setup, breakdown, and organization of bar equipment and cooler
