The Bartender role at Oak View Group is vital to maintaining the high standard of guest service expected from such prestigious venues. Job Requirements
- Must have six months or more bartending experience
- Must be able to handle cash accurately
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and long hours
- Bartending school preferred

Job Duties
- Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service and uniform standards
- Follow bar pre-shift notes and menus and provide service as described
- Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures and regulations
- Learn and suggestively upsell various beers, wines, and spirits to guests
- Pour drinks responsibly according to company serving size standards
- Check guest IDs in accordance with legal age requirements
- Communicate cut-offs to guests as needed
- Respond to customer requests and concerns
- De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if necessary
- Request additional or restock products as required
- Handle cash accurately and issue bank at the bar
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and ensure bar equipment is clean and maintained
- Assist with setup, breakdown, and organization of bar equipment and cooler
