  • Six months or more bartending experience
  • Ability to handle cash accurately
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and long hours
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Accurate cash handling skills

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and long hours

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellence in guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards
  • Follow the bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures for serving alcoholic drinks, including state and federal regulations pertaining to the distribution of alcohol
  • Be knowledgeable about various beer, wine varieties, and spirits and suggestively upsell products to guests
  • Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
  • Check the guest's ID in accordance with state and federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement for alcoholic beverages
  • Communicate a cut-off to a guest as required
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if necessary
  • Contact management if unable to resolve or make decisions beyond standard scope
  • Request additional products or restock products as needed
  • Manage the issued bank at the bar
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
  • Assist with setting up and breaking down bar equipment and organizing the cooler as required
