The Bartender role at Oak View Group is a vital position responsible for the preparation and service of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages within its venues. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- six months or more bartending experience
- ability to handle cash with accuracy
- knowledge of state and federal laws related to alcohol service
- ServSafe Alcohol Certification
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- capability to manage intoxicated guests professionally
- strong teamwork skills

Job Duties
- meet the company standard for excellent guest service interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
- follow bar pre-shift notes and menus providing service as described
- serve alcoholic beverages in compliance with state and federal regulations
- learn and suggestively upsell various beer wine and spirits
- pour drinks responsibly according to company standards
- verify guest IDs to ensure legal drinking age
- communicate a cut-off to guests as needed
- respond to customer requests or concerns
- de-escalate intoxicated guest situations and involve management or security when required
- contact management when decisions exceed standard authority
- request and restock bar products as needed
- handle cash accurately and maintain issued bank
- maintain a clean and sanitary work station and bar equipment
- set up and break down bar equipment and assist with cooler organization
