These venues host some of the most iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions around the world. The company’s mission is not only to build premium entertainment spaces but also to offer unparalleled service and experiences to live audiences in diverse entertainment settings. This broad scope and dedication to excellence make OVG an unrivaled name in the global entertainment infrastructure arena.
The role of Bartender at Oak View Group is integral to delivering an exceptional guest experience within these premier venues. This position involves maintaining clean and well-organized bar areas according to the strict standards set by OVG, the Illinois Liquor Commission, and the Health Department. The Bartender is responsible for preparing beverages promptly while adhering to standardized recipes and portion control practices, ensuring both consistency and regulatory compliance. Candidates will be part of a dynamic team focused on hospitality excellence, contributing directly to the vibrant atmosphere within each venue by providing friendly, courteous, and professional service to guests.
The Bartender role is a union position with a competitive pay rate of $30.87 per hour plus eligibility for tips, highlighting the value OVG places on skilled hospitality professionals. Furthermore, the role requires adherence to the SAVOR SAFE Alcohol Management Program, a comprehensive alcohol safety and service standard that underscores responsible beverage service. This inclusive and engaging work environment demands attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to operate under fast-paced, high-energy conditions. Bartenders must maintain strict inventory controls and cash handling protocols, contributing to overall financial accountability within the venue’s operations.
Working as a Bartender at Oak View Group not only means being part of a global entertainment leader but also offers the opportunity to grow professionally within a diverse and inclusive team. OVG values collaboration and diversity, believing that varied perspectives drive innovation and enhance service quality. Bartenders play a key role in shaping memorable experiences for audiences and supporting the company’s commitment to excellence in every aspect of live entertainment hospitality.
