Job Description

Oak View Group (OVG) is a global leader specializing in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services. Since its inception in 2015, OVG has established itself as a powerhouse in the industry, with a comprehensive platform that encompasses venue development and a full suite of end-to-end capabilities across venue management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. The company's portfolio includes ownership and management of seven world-class venues and a client roster featuring some of the most iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions globally, spanning four continents. This extensive reach and influence reflect OVG's commitment to shaping the future of live entertainment by delivering exceptional experiences for audiences and partners alike.

The role of Bartender at Oak View Group is a vital component within the hospitality services offered across these venues. This position involves the service of all beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, within an environment that is fast-paced and dynamic. As a Bartender, you are expected to be personable, professional, and adaptable to ever-changing scenarios while maintaining a high standard of service. Excellent attendance and availability to work events as scheduled according to business needs are also essential requirements. The role offers an hourly wage ranging from $14.00 to $16.00 and is tip eligible, providing a rewarding financial opportunity along with a chance to deliver memorable customer experiences.

Bartenders at OVG play a crucial part in upholding the company’s reputation for excellence in guest service. This entails adhering to company standards in guest interaction, maintaining uniform standards, and following bar pre-shift notes and menus to ensure consistent quality and product knowledge. The role demands thorough understanding and compliance with state and federal regulations related to alcoholic beverage service, including age verification and responsible pouring practices. Bartenders are knowledgeable about various beer, wine, and spirit varieties and use this expertise to suggestively upsell products, enhancing the guests’ experience and contributing to venue revenue.

Interaction with guests also includes addressing customer requests and concerns with professionalism and tact. Bartenders must possess strong conflict resolution skills, particularly the ability to de-escalate situations involving intoxicated guests, and know when to involve management or security to maintain a safe environment. Cash handling accuracy is paramount, as bartenders are responsible for issuing and managing a cash bank at their station. Cleanliness and sanitation of the bar workstation and equipment are imperative at all times, reflecting OVG's high standards for health and safety.

This part-time role includes benefits such as a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions, aligning with OVG’s commitment to supporting its team members both professionally and personally. The position remains open for applicants until August 7, 2026, providing ample opportunity for interested candidates to join a globally recognized leader in live entertainment. Additionally, Oak View Group values diversity and inclusivity as part of its core culture, fostering an innovative and empowering workplace where all voices are welcomed and celebrated.
