Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years bartending experience preferably in a catering banquet or high-volume event setting
  • Knowledge of drink recipes mixology techniques and bar equipment operation
  • Current alcohol service certification e.g. TIPS ServSafe Alcohol preferred as well as Food Handlers
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods lift up to 25 lbs
  • Available to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Set up and break down bar service areas for catered events including stocking beverages glassware garnishes and necessary equipment
  • Greet guests warmly take drink orders and prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to company and event specifications
  • Monitor guest consumption and practice responsible alcohol service in compliance with state and local regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area tools and service equipment in accordance with food safety and hygiene guidelines
  • Handle credit card transactions and reconcile sales at the end of each event when required
  • Collaborate with catering team members to ensure smooth service flow and timely guest satisfaction
  • Respond promptly to guest needs questions or concerns in a friendly and professional manner
