Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Six months or more bartending experience
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Must be of legal age to serve alcohol according to state laws
Ability to follow state and federal alcohol service regulations
Reliable attendance and punctuality

Job Qualifications

Six months or more experience bartending
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours
Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

Meet the company standard for excellent guest service and interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal regulations
Learn and have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties and spirits, suggestively upsell products to guests
Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company serving size standards
Check guest's ID to verify minimum age for alcohol purchase
Communicate cut-off to guests as required
Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if necessary
Contact management when decisions are beyond standard scope
Request and restock product as needed
Maintain clean and sanitary work station and well-maintained bar equipment
Assist with set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and organization of the cooler
Perform other duties as assigned
