Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months or more bartending experience
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol according to state laws
  • Ability to follow state and federal alcohol service regulations
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality

Job Qualifications

  • Six months or more experience bartending
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours
  • Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • Meet the company standard for excellent guest service and interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal regulations
  • Learn and have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties and spirits, suggestively upsell products to guests
  • Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company serving size standards
  • Check guest's ID to verify minimum age for alcohol purchase
  • Communicate cut-off to guests as required
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if necessary
  • Contact management when decisions are beyond standard scope
  • Request and restock product as needed
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work station and well-maintained bar equipment
  • Assist with set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and organization of the cooler
  • Perform other duties as assigned
